Cabochons

PAGE 1

Many of these are from my personal collection of cabochons that I have cut for myself, most are agate, jasper, petrified wood, and miscellenous materials from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. None of the photos are enhanced - indeed, the photos don't do these proper justice. Some are calibrated sizes and all have bevels to accomodate standard settings. Most of the freeform shapes are excellent for display, wire wrapping or custom mounts. I display mine in large Riker boxes, you can get them from some jewelry specific websites. If they have some issues (like extremely small, usually invisible, fractures), then I say so in the description. They are all have as high a polish as is possible and have no visible scratches. I am extremely picky about that. Any smudges are my greasy fingers, speckles are lint, not pits or scratches! All dimensions are in millimeters.
All pieces will be sent via USPS First Class Parcel mail

If you've recently visited this page, be aware that your browser may have cached the images and although all browsers are supposed to catch new images and reload them, sometimes they don't. So hit the refresh button below just in case to make sure you have the latest pics.
There's a simple fix for Firefox:
Type "about:config" in the website address box. This should load the Firefox config settings in the window for editing. You may see a warning message stating, "This might void your warranty!" (which is an in-joke, they don't have one), click on it to load the settings. Then search for the "browser.cache.check_doc_frequency" key and change it to "1".
For those of you who are looking for something specific in my for sale pages, such as when I list new items, I might have a solution for you. You may want to try this: https://www.changedetection.com, I think all you do is sign up and enter the address of the page, for example if you are looking for equipment enter http://orerockon.com/equipment_for_sale.html, and they should send you an email when I add something. BUT, it probably will send you a notice when I change one letter of one sentence on the page, so you might get annoyed by it at some point. It's a great way to track when I list new polished items, since I typically don't change anything until something sells and/or I add items, and equipment, which I never change unless I add new pieces or change the status to "sold" as they sell.

Cabochon 01 Holley Blue Agate, Oregon The queen of the blue agates, a must have for an serious agate collector. We dug this in the 1990s before the area was closed due to greedy people helping themselves to whatever they could grab even if it meant pulling up trees that the owner had planted. The lavender/light purple color is one of the most desirable shades. This agate sells for 50 cents - $1.00 a gram for the rough, so the cabochon prices naturally reflect that. All of these look better than the photos, my phone doesn't like the color and transparency.

You MUST allow cookies and popups for the PayPal site to work! (I get complaints that Paypal is "broken" at least once a week. It is ALWAYS because your web browser and/or firewall is blocking information from Paypal)
You MUST have a valid email address to use PayPal!
You DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to use PayPal! If you choose to pay via eCheck, I will wait for it to clear before starting on your order.
Do not ever email anyone your credit card number! If someone asks you for it, they are attempting to steal it! If you email me your credit card number, it will likely be stolen since one of tens of thousands of bots will probably intercept any email that looks like it has a credit card number in it. I wouldn't know what to do with it anyway, that's what PayPal is for.
